Tramadol
Tramadol is similar in nature to narcotic pain medications in the U.S. It treats moderate to severe pain. In the U.S., it’s now considered to be a controlled substance. Since it doesn’t have the same chemical composition as opiates, it was originally not considered to be a narcotic. It is, however, addictive.
